A local business homepage usually does not need five competing buttons. It needs one primary action that matches the buyer’s next step.
When every section asks for something different, the visitor has to become the strategist. That is friction. Better: make the page choose a path and let the visitor follow it.
The One-Button Test
- Can a visitor understand the offer in 10 seconds?
- Is there one obvious button near the top?
- Does that button lead to a real form, phone number, quote request, or booking step?
That one change can make a small website feel calmer, more professional, and more ready to convert the traffic it already gets.
